What is a share?

  Share means share, if you have shares of a   company, then you become the owner of that   share.



What is the stock market?

       When we have to go to the market to buy         some product or something, the market that    happens to buy and sell shares is called the stock market.


 How does a company come to the stock 
market?


 FOR EXAMPLE, Mr. Yash started the SRT   Diamond Limited Company, which started   making good profits in a few years.  A few years   later Mr. Yash needed RS.50 lakh for the   development of his company.  Mr. Yash cannot   take a loan from the bank as the interest of the   bank is very high.  Only then did he think that this   company should be listed on the stock market.  Mr. Yash listed 5,00,000 shares of his company   in the market with a face value of RS.10.  People will buy these shares and they will get a stake in the company.  With the company's entry into the stock market, people will have increased confidence in the company.
